3. The Maori Picture Dictionary by Ross Calman
If you are starting on your Te Reo Maori journey this comprehensive and playful book is a great reference - and ideal for holiday reading.
It includes over 1400 of the most common words used in daily life and has a sense of fun that makes it easy to use - a great introduction to Maori language for the whole family.

5. A Summary Sunday morning by Margaret Mahy
This childrens book is a Kiwi classic - a lively, read-aloud story about a group of children, dogs, a cat, and a gaggle of geese enjoying their summery Saturday morning when though things do not go quite as planned. A fun read for the whole family.
